Let’s build something on this land
Research, funding, volunteering and visits: ways to be part of Kijiko.
Ways to partner
Kijiko brings together conservation, livelihoods and research on one working site. There are several ways to be part of it.
Research partnerships
Use the site as a living laboratory, drawing on a decade of records, species inventories and field logistics, as SINTEF Energi is doing on biochar and bioenergy.
Funders & donors
Support restoration, the tree nursery, biochar R&D and community learning, and help extend the last forest in the Kijiko area.
Volunteering & learning
Join restoration and nursery work, or bring a group for a learning visit on regenerative agriculture and conservation.
Agritourism & stays
Book the guesthouse, campsite, forest walks and farm tours: visits that fund the work and teach something.
